This Agreement is between Bin Bros KC (the "Company") and the individual signing below (the "Contractor"), effective on the date both parties sign.
1.Engagement
The Contractor agrees to perform canvassing services for the Company: distributing flyers, texting signup links, and assisting prospective customers with sign-up via the Jobatory platform. The Contractor sets their own schedule and is not required to work any minimum hours.
2.Independent contractor status
The Contractor is an independent contractor under IRS Form 1099-NEC, NOT an employee of the Company. The Contractor:
- Receives no salary, hourly wage, benefits, or tax withholding
- Provides their own transportation and tools (phone, etc.)
- Is responsible for their own income tax filings
- May work for other businesses simultaneously
- May terminate this Agreement at any time
3.Compensation
The Company will pay the Contractor according to the following rates:
Payment is sent weekly via Venmo every Friday, covering the prior Friday-through-Thursday work week. Signups are confirmed via the Jobatory platform. Rates may change with notice; current rates appear on the canvasser scoreboard.
4.W-9 required
The Contractor agrees to complete and return an IRS Form W-9 to the Company before receiving their first payout. The Company will mail a 1099-NEC tax form each January if the Contractor's earnings exceed $600 in the prior calendar year.
5.Conduct
The Contractor agrees to:
- Comply with no-soliciting requests and not enter property where unwelcome
- Represent themselves accurately as a contractor for Bin Bros KC
- Not misrepresent prices, services, or company policy
- Treat homeowners with respect
6.Termination
Either party may end this Agreement at any time, with or without notice or cause. Earned-but-unpaid compensation will be paid in the next scheduled weekly payout.
7.Parental acknowledgement
If the Contractor is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must co-sign this Agreement before the Contractor can begin work. After the Contractor signs below, the parent/guardian listed will receive a text link to review and counter-sign this same Agreement.
8.Acknowledgement
By signing below, the Contractor agrees to the terms of this Agreement. Once the parent/guardian also signs, the Agreement is in full effect and payouts begin.
